<![CDATA[April 24th, 2015]]>Mon, 27 Apr 2015 03:24:51 GMThttp://swamidon.com/1/post/2015/04/2.html After Awakening... What to Do ?
                                                                                                          by Swami Don

Many people flounder after experiencing Awakening and become lost and helpless as a new world inches into their reality. This State is the unfortunate result of Matrix mind-fog that responds to any sense of new realities, or even the suspicion of them. Confusion is natural when worlds collide, and so is fear.

So get used to it. Awakening is merely the smallest step toward real life but it can lead to a miraculous journey if one chooses it. The Matrix enslaves but exercising Free Choice can empower one to see what exists directly off the end of their nose and picking at it can unveil Truths that are there 'even when you are not.'

Lemmings 'go along to get along' and recognize neither the march nor the destination until they splat against the rocks below when it's too late, but “whoops, just another Lemming.” Your Spirit is Immortal so another Vessel is coming along shortly anyway, and besides, life is wasted on Lemmings isn't it?

Reincarnation is reserved for the Spirit but life is a rare and valuable gift for all that encounter it. Only one per Vessel but still an opportunity beyond belief that hints at the possibility of more than most suspect. Consciousness brings the potential to discover the reason why one exists and maybe that's the point of being human.

Sure, awakening is a gimme, but also the lucky break that sign posts the Journey to Self discovery that lies before all of Humanity. That the Path exists is proven by others who have beaten it down already, but nonetheless, the Seeker's first steps always require courage because they must be taken on Faith and Willpower alone.

Awakening is a glimpse of reality and the beginning of awareness that can expand in only two directions, outward (exoteric) and inward (esoteric). One Path is finite and the other is infinite. Both are necessary to unveil illusions in the material world although it's Inner-world discoveries that raise the veils to real surprises.

Certainly every Spirit is ravaged in childhood as the Matrix imprints itself and these forgotten memories affect every aspect of life after the first 7 years. So, in order to significantly increase Awareness these experiences must be examined in the light of day and in this effort there can be no compromises or shortcuts.

GIGO. Garbage in-Garbage out makes the business of stripping away the trash
inescapable. The Matrix's facilitators weren't concerned about the Evil they put into you in childhood so forget them now, and forgive them when you're ready. But meanwhile it's safe to believe that their stuff guaranteed your misery.

Expect Meditation, Psychological Therapy and Self-study to nurture introspective thought. With so few choices most people start with New Age Metaphysics, and I did too for awhile, but NA won't go the distance on a serious Quest and just assures discovering better delusions rather than full consciousness or Enlightenment.

The Initiated Seeker must avoid the philosophy of easy answers riddled with holes and misrepresentations. Only intense inner work can build the pathways needed to bring real Truths up from one's Center in a natural manner which includes the reasons why. Encouraging the inner Teacher is what turns Seekers into Knowers.

Some meditations are designed to reach specific goals and for the beginner psychological therapy is really important if it's meaningful. But no one can take you farther on the Spiritual Path than he's traveled himself so choose your teachers carefully and don't be afraid to kill every Buddha on the road, if necessary.

Some who awaken begin to closely examine their needs, and their life, to find what lies behind new horizons that suddenly appeared. Many search for, and study, the Old Masters to build upon their Wisdom; and some look to the written Classics to Self-educate... or both. Lifting Veils will reveal which dead Masters tell no lies.

A free person gains consciousness far beyond the Masses. What the Matrix (and its representatives) present as truth disintegrates when the mind opens to consider other realities; and one is that the Masses are asses and the willing receptacles for Universal Stupidity. The Awakened Seeker will move far beyond them.

In the Land of the Blind the One-eyed Man is King but nothing will be reaped that hasn't been sown first and personal power grows when the weight of emotional and mental baggage is removed. It took years to get screwed-up so disciplined effort will be needed for years to undo that damage, but the sooner one begins serious work the sooner the 'spice of life' will come. Guaranteed.

<![CDATA[SOME OBVIOUS TRUTHS FROM THE SPIRITUAL PATH]]>Sun, 29 Mar 2015 01:09:36 GMThttp://swamidon.com/1/post/2015/03/some-obvious-truths-from-the-spiritual-path.html by Swami Don

For the true liver of Life there are no mistakes once he learns how to turn them into lessons to open doors and then are encouraged, the more the merrier, bring'em on. Of course everybody is going to screw-up but mistakes bring limits and where is the reason in them if not to grow beyond them? Nobody is perfect and nobody really knows anything except that they know nothing for sure.

Having posed the disclaimer it's now possible to reason together about what seems apparent. With an infinite number of ways to the infinite the Journey is merely a matter of first deciding to do it, and then one step after another followed by another. No worries about the direction because the path will narrow as the traveler concerns himself with nothing more than finding Truths large and small.

Some Truths are obvious and other Truths spring from them to be followed like cake crumbs through a dark and scary forest and discovering elements of the plan confirms the existence of a Plan. For example, we're all separated from the Source at Birth, no memory and no exceptions, it happens to everybody so slumber and unconsciousness must be part of the plan.

Then the first thing that happens after birth is the Matrix is installed and here again there's no avoiding it either. Regardless of culture it still happens in some form or another and prepares the Vessel for life in the material world. Obvious again that a Matrix has always been and always will be, so it's apparent as part of the plan as well.

But unless enslavement to illusion is Man's Destiny, which is hard to believe given the reality of Free Choice before us, and pretty easy too... the Matrix or Freedom. The movie exposed the Matrix and some awoke to the horror of living death the Matrix brings, but most did not, nor did many recognize the red-pill Blue-pill moment is a permanent choice before humanity.

Thus another Truth and this one begs the question of what to do after awakening? No help is coming from the Matrix, or its believers, since it (and they) exist to keep us down on the farm as servants with no hope except for more of the same. But remember, the Matrix is essentially Mind Forged Manacles and the only solution to cast them off is to learn to use the mind to do it.

Since this must be done it must be part of the Plan. What other challenge is before humankind except to perfect slavery within the Matrix or to gain Freedom from it? Thus after awakening to the need to be free the next step from slumber and unconsciousness begins with the decision to move to Consciousness. This presents a monumental struggle but once again, the most logical reaction.

And obviously part of the Plan and just imagine what Life Review looks like to see a barely scratched surface of heights slaves aren't allowed to dream about. To see what could have been in face of the wasted life that was, and maybe that's the lesson if no others. In a Universe of infinite possibilities the emotion the living dead feel at death is profound regret.

Pretty grim and it's easy to see the mindset of the material world in most old folks as they approach their end and begin to face a less distracted reality and the mistakes of miss-spent life. Too late for them now except to imagine the misery of passing into the next life carrying the 500# gorilla of unresolved worldly baggage? Not a pretty picture is it?

So when reason suggests benefit from making the final crossing as pure and simple as possible and that means leaving the 500# gorilla of crap accumulated in this lifetime behind where you got it. And it's more preferable to strip the Matrix away when the vessel is still young enough to enjoy life but given such clear choices it appears that Man's reason to live is to defeat the Matrix.

So another Truth is that Life is a gift that must be fought for because everything that happens before consciousness to it is illusion and nothing more than campfire shadows flickering on the wall of a monkey's cave... and the unawakened are the monkeys.

<![CDATA[Enlightenment is for the Birds]]>Fri, 20 Mar 2015 19:59:37 GMThttp://swamidon.com/1/post/2015/03/enlightenment-is-for-the-birds.html by Swami Don

There's a story circulating about a Master who took his student to the cliff edge, pushed him off, and he flew. A nice concept but I wouldn't recommend it literally or rush to take any flights either. It's a teaching story that notes timing is everything but fails to point out that the Universe holds the watch.

Karma brings needed lessons and the task before everyone is to be open to it. Awakening is the gift of sight and consciousness is the gift of life, and more importantly, the foundation built in the space between these two waypoints becomes the template for the Journey that follows.

'Ask and ye shall receive' but "ask for what" is always the question. Most Seekers tend to be careful about what they ask for because more might come than is bargained for and with a twist at the end too. Reality is often not what it appears and neither are human desires as sometimes the opposite of a thing is more true.

First to crawl, then to walk, and then to run and there are no short cuts for the hard work of sowing today in hope of reaping big tomorrow. 'Seek and ye shall find' and therefore studying Dead Masters for the essence of their philosophy is a good place to start. Many flights have been launched from their backs.

For the Birds? Sure, you bet, but the variety whose strength grows with flight ever nearer to the Light and becomes more powerful than an Eagle but resembles a Phoenix too, repeatedly consumed by fire and reborn many times on the way to the Source of Truths that brings the freedom that makes flight possible.

Awakening is a personal story and mine is a classic tale of a 'last call' effort by a pissed off Spirit that boxed me in with no escape after an accident that was neither accident nor coincidence when examined in retrospect of fingerprints of Karma, Fate and Destiny so clearly evident.

But the End is not seen in the Beginning and Enlightenment is proven only by the pain, suffering and tears that mark its trail. 13 years it took me but I admit to giving up on the whole idea in the 11th year and leaving India to wander the world, still a Warrior Priest but without the former 24/7/365 intensity.

I've always been lucky and metaphorically could fall into a pile Holy Cow shit and expect to come up smelling like a rose. But luck is the Grace that proves Spirit World is close although hidden behind Veils, but calls to me went unheard and even two Near Death Experiences didn't break through.

I was a tough nut to crack: hard of hearing and distracted by life but also a survivor, and give the Matrix credit, well prepared to tangle with the material world and rack up more wins than losses. But never a second thought for my Soul until it lost patience and got my attention with more direct action.

Few could foresee the potential Karma of major disasters that turn into the best thing that could ever have happened, and being beaten down wasn't so great in the beginning either, but the events that stripped away my life went unrecognized at the time but were the price of admission to unknown realms.

No need to mince words. My Spirit tricked me onto the Spiritual Path and didn't care whether I was on-board or not, and then guided me to a Magic Theater filled with Teachers and dramas unbidden to introduce a mysterious new world where I knew less than nothing and everybody else knew more.

Or at least appeared knowledgeable to a rube like me and every New Age Charlatan with dreams of a new car or vacation home had his hand in my pocket while I floundered along in the shallows of New Age nitwitism. Until Fate brought me an old Jungian Master and a Path hidden in plain sight.

Change happened quickly with his meditations and mental techniques and rude Awakenings brought new realities and a new life that demanded fresh programs and a real education. With the right guidance despair eventually found opportunity and a growing curiosity about what might be.

Life in the opposite direction means thinking new thoughts and extending horizons to places well beyond human imagination or ability to plan, thus my Spirit planned the trip and I was merely along for the ride on a Journey designed and guided by Powers more significant than me.

Clearly a seemingly impossible Quest requires help from the Gods so attracting their attention is necessary... but they are fickle and an audience is earned only through satisfied Gatekeepers and crossed Thresholds and humans best tread very carefully on those Playing Fields.

<![CDATA[Without Consciousness Everything is Maya (illusion)]]>Mon, 09 Feb 2015 07:37:56 GMThttp://swamidon.com/1/post/2015/02/consciousness-is-awakening-to-the-soul.html
( Awakening to Consciousness of the Soul
) by Swami Don

The Matrix has long existed by other names and descriptions and is made possible because forgetfulness is a basic requirement for the Spirit to enter this plane of existence to occupy a Vessel which begins its life as a blank slate ready and eager to be written upon, and anything can be written.

The Matrix imprints rules and limitations indelibly onto the child to explain the mysterious new world the Soul finds itself in, and thus, a helpful impostor fills an inner-Void but knows nothing beyond a belief that IT alone lives; and once any lingering childhood suspicions are suppressed there's no basis to believe otherwise until Awakening occurs.

Unfortunately in many ways a Spirit/Soul may withdraw from a human life because of the abusive treatment the child (Vessel for the Soul) receives, and later is put-off again by mind-forged manacles which prevent the simple enjoyment of life. The Soul might simply decide to sit this one out. After all, another Vessel will come along in the blink of a Cosmic Eye.

This might explain why many people who appear to be born without a Soul may actually have had this important door slammed shut when the Soul did exactly what Its reflection (the Vessel) should be doing... refusing to participate in the madness. Who could blame a sensitive Soul for withdrawing from yet another miserable lifetime of quiet desperation?

Consider the possibility that 'all is Maya (illusion) except that which is seen through the Eye of the Spirit”, and maybe as near as a human can get to that is to connect with his Soul. Most agree to having One but many forget Its nature as an Immortal Chip off the GOD Block and likely His representative on this playing field. Not so strangely, the Matrix holds this secret close and quiet.

Also overlooked is that children have no Free Will and their life is defined by the amount of fear and punishment required to force acceptance of another person's values. But when the vessel matures enough to look beyond mommy for nourishment he begins to examine his own place in the Universe and the False Ego is quickly exposed by the living death it brings.

This monster has grown strong and arrogant within each of us and truly believes itself to be the big-cheese in a group that excludes God and the Soul and a very big Universe as well, but the False Ego's world view is supported by a Matrix of interwoven Illusions which limit believers to the crumbs of life in a dark airless box with defined horizons. It must be defeated.

Everything is rationed in the Matrix, especially reason, and a pay-off comes only from blind obedience to inhuman Institutions and Systems that suck away life and hope. Escape appears impossible when even the mere thought brings pain from the Matrix, but the real root of One's misery is a deep and profound realization of wasted life drifted far off course.

Escape from the Matrix is possible and enough have done it to point the way. The real Journey to the Self is as painful as violently stripping away cherished illusions and delusions would expect to be... but Consciousness is a threshold which must be crossed before progress can happen on a true Spiritual Journey. Prior to Consciousness everything is Maya.

             Women Can't Raise Little Boys
        by Swami Don

Woman's mischief is done and the proof is so right in our face that one must wonder: "how blind can unconsciousness be?" As usual the men have slept through it and now must work to try to save what's left... and clean up the mess that 'let the women do it' has caused. But maybe better to forget them, it's too late and the die is cast anyway, so all that really remains is to standby and watch America sink with most life lost... and know the reasons why. This comedy of errors won't be seen again so enjoy the show.

With four generations of Zombie kids produced isn't it amusing to watch mothers pointing the finger at the schools, and educators doing the same at mothers; with neither admitting the obvious common denominator, or the historical reality that in every society it falls to women to raise the children? When poorly done the signs will be everywhere just as they are today so is anyone really surprised when Millennials, like the women who raised them, are unable to accept responsibility and are socialized instead of educated?

Women have failed in their most basic God-given duty when they turn boys into dumbed-down losers and emasculated young men that speak, think, and behave like little girls. Thus women, with stereotypical small-mindedness and lack of foresight, have destroyed legions of male children and produced young adults that aren't smart enough to figure out where they are, or who put them there. Instead of blaming the victims (or the nearest man) let the Sisterhood take credit for what they have done..

Ignorance is the largest part of America these days but few can deny the Truth hurts, or admit that fear and pain are reasons to choose darkness and embrace slavery. Quoting Morpheus, "some people are not ready for the Truth" even if it's found right in front of their nose. But ignorance is a feeble excuse to those who choose to see, and then have the courage to really look, but it is uncomfortable to discover what's been stolen and to find the living death that replaced it.

“The hand that rocks the cradle rocks the world” and the reality is that every little boy's best friend is his mother and this creates big problems for the world. Men and women are different, and men and women are not equal. To suggest anything else is unhealthy and against the Natural Order of things because a child is a blank slate that's unable to make those distinctions and a child has no choice but to model whatever is seen (and experienced).

The foundation for a man's life is built in early childhood and the consequences of a mistake at the beginning are enormously significant if one asks the question: “Which man, with hope to do anything meaningful in his life, would want worldviews imprinted on him while he's a defenseless child... especially by another child?" A young girl in most cases, and female values not male.

Once again women are proven unable to raise little boys because they turn them into little girls, and history both recognizes this fact and proves it, as do events in America today. The Greeks, the Romans, and every culture that dominated the world stage including the British all handled this problem by separating the sexes early-on for education; and some cultures separated the Male children from the mother even sooner using nannies, governesses and male tutors that left the mother as a Goddess figurehead.

Today the Elites use the same methods that succeeded throughout history and would never discuss this issue in front of the Masses but take a look at how their children are raised. You already know the answer even if the Matrix doesn't allow any understanding of true meaning, but you can bet your life their young men are not turned into brain-dead little girls by neurotic mothers, or emasculated in a Public School system dominated by low class and barely educated women.

No amount of political correctness or social engineering can change the reality of traditional male/female roles, and the stereotypes that spring from them. They are actual "Truths" passed forward by our ancestors in simple terms that forget the underlying reasons. No Nation that recognizes the 'children are the future' carelessly destroys 4 generations of them... at least not by accident or without reason... and clearly the Elites have not forgotten.

When Truth comes center stage the proof is found both in the dustbins of human history and in front of one's eyes too, and maybe when revealed, there might also be a twitch deep in the the part of one's heart that's been forgotten. But once the truth is known it can never not be known again.
